BLOWING RICCARDO
Blowing Riccardo was filmed in the Mojave Desert, in an aircraft boneyard where old planes go to die. A handful of Givenchy garments designed by Riccardo Tisci linger in the wasteland. The wind blows softly, brushing the sky clean and catching the fabric. The clothes seem to dance among the carcasses.

The installation unfolds across nine simultaneous films. Each one focuses on a garment, presented as a distinct subject, but the series is meant to be seen as a whole, with all the videos playing at once. Together they create a sort of community — a community of loners where the lightness of a dancing dress can be felt.
